The Universe is information aligned in mental energy under rules and laws to appear as a "physical" manifestation. The mental energy produces a perception in the divine Mind. The perception has several values that make it seem real. We call it a world of "sense perception." The divine Mind is real. The mental energy creating the perception is real. The perception itself is mental smoke and mirrors, it has no actual reality. The divine Mind is All. The Universe is entirely mental and as such, it can be mentally manipulated to deliver whatever life you will. The Law Of Attraction is only the beginning of understanding this mental process. Ancient wisdom says, “The All Is Mind; The Universe Is Mental.” – The Kybalion. Through scientific study and advancement, we’ve been able to determine that the “physical” world is actually made of energy. Energy, something that we have not been able to completely define through scientific study, but the above quote of ancient wisdom has defined the energy as mental and of the divine Mind. The Mind being All. So, in essence, and fundamentally speaking, the Mind itself in observing life is observing mentally perceptive values of its own energy.
Through scientific study and advancement, we at the objective level understand that our world is delivered to our minds perceptively through sense information, sight, sound, taste, touch, and smell. The world and the life process is mental perception in the Mind, drawn from the alignment of its own mental energy. The problem is that the perceptive experience is so powerful in its running presentation that the observing entity (the Mind) is being ignored, in favor of its perceptive characters. So in essence, the power of the mental process is given over to the perception rather than kept with the entity of its creation. The Mind becomes locked into its own limits of perception at a personal level, miserably observing and responding to the observation with thoughts that are unconscious of its true self, its true magnitude. This leads to the whole mental machination of the Universe and life only being a lowly shadow of the heavenly paradise that it could be. The solution is in the Mind awakening to itself in the perceptive process and taking conscious control of its mental faculties. It can be done right there from its perceptive point of observation. Yes, I’m talking to you. Awaken, turn within, and begin to understand your true self and how you operate. Close your eyes, be in silence, and just feel your divine presence. Ignore the perceptive experience for just a moment. Let this be the beginning of self-understanding.

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH AUTHOR ONE IAM
How did growing up in Detroit during the turbulent 1960s and 70s shape your worldview and influence your writing?
Very little, in terms of worldview. I didn’t leave the Metro-Detroit area until I was in my twenties, so my perspective was limited to the racial struggles of Detroit in the 1960s and 70s. My writing began with socially conscious poetry in the 80s.
Can you share some experiences from your childhood as the second of seven siblings that had a significant impact on your life?
Having a "stepfather" and living in a two-tier family had the most impact on me and my siblings. It brought some of us closer together while separating others, all within the same house. Though we had the same mother, we had four different fathers.
What aspects of your education in the Detroit Public Schools system and Lawrence Technological University contributed to your development as a writer?
Detroit Public Schools provided me with a solid foundation in reading, writing, and the basics. I also learned to type in junior high, a skill that became monumental in my life—it connected me to the keyboard in ways I never anticipated. LTU opened me up to new ideas.
How did your early marriage and experiences as a father influence your journey toward self-discovery and your writing career?
The mistakes I made. Mistakes prompt a man to reflect and search inward for answers. I had three children before I turned 26, with little guidance or direction. Experience is a hard teacher, but it has made me a better writer.
What prompted you to start writing socially conscious poetry in the early 1980s, and how did your writing evolve over time?
I had dreams of being a writer. I used to read Writer’s Digest magazine, and in the back, there were ads for poetry contests and anthology inclusions. Poetry seemed like a good start—it didn’t require as many pages as a novel.
Can you elaborate on the period of turbulence in your marriage and lack of self-control that led you to deep self-reflection and questioning your faith?
I married long before I understood female sexual energy. I had an insatiable attraction to it that I didn’t fully understand, causing both my young wife and me a lot of pain. Our marriage couldn’t survive the “wanton inquiry.”
What were the key reasons you found the Christian religion lacking, and how did this realization affect your spiritual journey?
The Christian interpretation of the scriptures felt overly literal to me. I saw the literal interpretations as symbols for deeper meanings and universal processes. Without a Divinity degree, my interpretations clashed with the church, and they eventually asked me to leave.
How did you come across the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC, and what drew you to their teachings?
I stumbled upon The Order's website in 2000. Initially, I thought it might be Satanic, as it contradicted my Christian beliefs. However, the information offered was so intriguing that I joined.
Can you describe your experience and the significance of becoming a 9+ Degree Frater after over a decade of mystical education with the Rosicrucian Order?
My experience in The Order was nothing short of spectacular! Being in The Order is being in yourself, the All. The ritual, the discipline, the respect for the information, and the process of receiving it—the Order broke the chains of religion that held my mind captive. Being 9+ is the same as being a Jedi warrior.
What are some of the key answers you found within the "kingdom within," and how have these insights influenced your writings?
In the KJV, Jesus says, “The kingdom of God is within,” which is a quiet way of saying you are God. I found that I AM, and I AM All. The Universe is a perception created from my own mental energy under law.
What motivates you to share your spiritual discoveries and knowledge with humanity through your writing?
Love. Self-love. “The All Is Mind; The Universe Is Mental.” – The Kybalion. All of the perceptive life experiences are my own. It’s only natural that I want the best experience at every observation point.
Can you tell us about any current writing projects or books you are working on?
I recently released a paperback, Awakening Within for Conscious Community Influencers, available on Amazon. Also, I’m presently working on a title called The Wealth Mindset, which covers commanding the mental energy to produce the perceptive life experience willed.
What advice would you give to aspiring writers who are struggling with self-doubt or finding their voice?
BELIEVE! And then write. Intelligence is the creator; your thoughts command the mental energy to produce the perceptive life experience desired. The Intelligence is real. The mental energy is real. The perception is perception. Enjoy!
